The 2008 8 Core Apple MacPro

The 2008 Apple MacPro has up to 2 times faster than the Quad core Macpro's of last year. The internal design of the box makes installing massive amounts of memory, adding expansion cards and increasing storage surprisingly simple and intuitive.

Installing more memory by easily locating the riser cards which slide out and will accept up to 32 Gigabytes of 800 Mhz EEC fully buffered DIMM memory.

Four full length Expansion Slots, including a higher performance PCI Express 2.0 graphics slot which is doubly wide. Expansion pr ad on cards can be exchanged by simple in and out snapping.

With just one 8 Core Macpro you can run up to eight, 30 inch Apple Cinema HD Displays at the same time.

With 2 processors each has 12MB of L2 cache and each pair shares 6MB. 1600MHz 64 bit dual independent frontside busses. More Tech details here.
