Entoptic phenomena are visual effects whose source is within the eye itself.I'm guessing WOFL means Wide Optical Floaters, and in this animation the artist David OReilly has rekindled an entoptic experience and he writes of it:
"you can taste it with your eyes."
This animation works as a very pleasant balance between minimalist patterning, attention to symbolic detail, and characterisation with a very clever sound track.
