LoopLoop: : A very long panoramic sequence by Patrick Bergeron
LoopLoop (5 mins.) is an "image" built from a 33 seconds video sequence.
"in a train going to Hanoi in Vietnam, I filmed the houses boarding the railroad. The 1000 images of this sequences have been stitched into one long panoramic image."
LoopLoop is also a "video" loop.
"Into the long image, I integrated other moving elements and builted smooth transitions over it. The soundtrack have been built using the original video sound. "
Bergeron produced this work using Final Cut Studio, Sound Edit and some Perl, he says
"In my present life ... I'm video artist and researcher, I modify and manipulate the image and its details. I’m interested about the concepts of speed, memories and the image components. My work is a mix of animation, abstract film and documentary. For the last 15 years, I’m working in special effect for the film industry. I’m a “digital compositor”. I worked on some of the most challenging shots on films like The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix."
